Lmfao. How can you even compare Kane and Bollig? One is our best offensive player. The other is… uh. 0 goals and 0 assists in 40+ games. Nice try though.
like i get hat he didnt do that great, and he caused the turnover that lost us the game, but you cant completely blame the whole game on Bollig, the whole team kind of just faded.
i get that he doesnt add that much to the line up, and he really shouldnt be in, but you cant blame the whole loss on him, it’s a team effort, you know, the cheesy saying “Theres no I in team?” that means you cant blame a team loss on one guy.
I’m not blaming the loss on him. The Hawks played like hot garbage after the first period. But either way you can’t have a guy like Bollig - who brings nothing - in the lineup and then be surprised when he causes a goal against (a goal which happened to end the game). There’s no reason for him to be playing. Like… honestly… none.
I get where you’re coming from, and I’m not saying it’s you. And I mean, I agree with you, but all of these people are just shitting on him. and all I can think is, he probably already feels like shit for turning it over, why do you all just have to rub it in his face and blame him and make it seem like he’s the only one that did any wrong. Because what I’ve seen a lot of is, everyone only shitting on Bollig, instead of the whole team for their shitty playing. and I think that’s what’s really frustrating for me a fan.
Hawks as a team (except Crawford, Keith, Sharp and a couple others) played like crap. Toews has been disappointing as fuck. Kane was invisible. Seabrook and Hammer didn’t play well tonight. I could go on. The lack of effort overall was just awful.
The thing is though, each of those guys I mentioned brings something to the table. Toews is our #1 center. Kane is our best offensive player. Seabrook and Hammer have more good games than bad. I don’t like calling them out as much after one bad game when, for the most part, they consistently bring their A-game.

yeah i was watching but did you not see the shit ton of turnovers that were happening in OT like any one of those could’ve been goals we just got lucky each time…
